Yes I have this with mental health meds- I can only take 1 brand despite the others supposedly being the complete same

I have heard of this from people. Also for tamoxifen even though same ingredients.

Yes, am on a beta-blocker and have noticed this. Pharmacist says they’re all the same and it’s in my head. Of course it is, I’m a woman in her 40s, all those extra SVTs are just imaginary.

Can I just double check what MMF is? I know with hydroxychloriquine people have reported massive issues with brand versus non brand. It certainly is a thing.

So yes. It will be a cost saving exercise no doubt. I'd raise it with the surgery and say you feel you are not reacting the same to this version. They'll try fob you off. Just push back.

Yes. Ventolin is NOT the same as a general sabutamol inhaler. The cheap generic hospital one did nothing but my proper one relieved my symptoms in a few minutes. Same as when the pharmacy tried to change it too. Must be something else in it that helps the active ingredient to be more effective.

Sometimes the binders etc are different even though the active ingredients and so medications are the exact same- some react badly to some. It's worth mentioning to your prescriber, doctors can prescribe a particular brand or if this isn't available the pharmacist should be able to advise.
