Was diagnosed with ADHD over a year ago. Currently titrating.
Was diagnosed with Subclinical Hypothyroidism last May - was doing a trial of levo end of last year but was asked to stop by ADHD meds people til titration that id been waiting to start for ages was over.
As of past few months I think perimenopause has hit. Periods much further apart and hot flushes.
Also have a hip problem which has sort of given me a limp....
On top of this my mother passed away from endometrial cancer last year and my father and grandfather both had heart attacks at a relatively young age.
So symptom wise there is general brain fog, inability to focus or concentrate, inability to actually do what I want to do, instead sitting in a state of inertia. Pins and needles in hands and arms. Aches in legs and arms mainly at night but not great during the day either. Feeling heavy like it's an effort to move sort of like I'm dragging myself around. General mood has never been great. Hip causing a bit of a limp and obvious that one leg is overcompensating for the other if my insoles are anything to go by.
So - titration for adhd is almost over. The inertia has improved but other symptoms not helping.
Thyroid- the levothyroxine id been on before titrating did seem to help and I felt a lot better but recent blood test shows levels only just above the high limit so are down as borderline so doc wants to discuss before putting me back on trial.
Perimenopause- my mothers death last year has left me clueless as to whether HRT is a good idea or not - i don't know if she took HRT and not sure if the cancer was a hormonal version or not.
Hip - the physio i saw at the doc over a year ago told me to do some stretches and that "x-rays round there aren't great for women especially with what happened to your mum"....so not really sure what I'm meant to do here....
History of heart attacks - again with all three medications for adhd peri and thyroid there seems to be risks.
I'm just exhausted and don't know what symptom is what or how to focus and deal with them all. Any helpful (not too blunt as not in the best place right now) advice would be greatfully received.
