Can I have your suggestions for healthy nibbles please?

Am trying to shift my muffin top a few extra pounds. I do an exercise class once a week and walk everywhere (I would guess two or three miles per day, usually pushing a buggy up a steep hill). Diet generally healthy but eat too much chocolate (particularly in an evening). What can I munch after tea? (eat early with the kids at 5pm). I'm really not a fruit fan though will/should eat it; any other suggestions?

Veg sticks with homemade hummous

someone on here suggested frozen red grapes which I haven't tried but keep meaning to.

How about a little plain popcorn? I would probably rather have nothing than this though - a good guage as to whether I am really hungry or not!

mmm hummous ... ahhhhh [homer simpson stylee]

what do you have with a cuppa instead of a biscuit though??

ooh yes popcorn

temptation is to make loads and eat it all though - does it keep when popped do you know?

home made fruit cake with a cup of tea is not so bad - at least it gives you some dried druit/iron and not just empty biscuit calories

olives with low cal tonic with large bit of lime in it?

Get some Yogi tea (licorice flavour)

It's naturally sweet and kills the sugar craving

mmmm. Love liquorice, not keen on sweet drinks. Have terrible sweet tooth though.

Have just had a piece of toast with a smidge of honey on it. Is that really bad??

actually newgirl you have a point, don't mind dried fruit so much.

You can buy frozen fruit - usually a mix of different berries - raspberries etc. Pop some in a bowl and mix in a muller light toffee yogurt. Leave for a few mins and eat. It taste's lovely - a bit like fruit icecream! I know that it's not quite chocolate but it hits the spot for a quick munch in the evening.
