I am very hot and stressed, have just been for a lie down upstairs.

Was suddenly aware my leg was itching. Scratched it and noticed red rashes my legs with a raised area but no clear bite mark. The red rashy ares are very hot to touch.

Can I bought out in hives as a reaction to stress and over tiredness or has something bitten me?

Hives look like you've been stung by a nettle. Could it be heat rash?

twinsetandpearls · 12/05/2008 21:56

Yes it looks like I have been stung by a nettle.

I will look at a picture of a heat rash?

I was having a paranoid bed bug moment.

The position is right for a heat rash as it is behind the kness so where you would get hot but are the big bumps right?

Piriton will. Diprobase might.

Be prepared to be knocked out by Piriton. I once took some and didn't wake up for WEEKS.

I suffer from hives as an allergic reaction - if i touch any lanolin-including cream.

If it is allergic it will probably affect more of your body then just behind your knee - sounds like a heat reaction if that is all youhave.

If I touch a lanlin cream, or nettles (another alergy) then I come out in hives not jsut where I touched it but all over and need antihisthamines and creams to cool it down - and twice have ended up in casualty needing adrenaline. If it is an allergy, you know all about it!
