Can anyone help with whether I should be asking for any second opinions on any of these blood tests results please?

To add my history of TSH levels, whilst always "in range" it's always been on the low end

I don't know about thyroid results but your b12 and folate whilst in range may not be optimal. For me, those levels would cause me to be symptomatic and I'd need to supplement them.

Also b12 tests can be influenced by supplements, so if you've been taking vitamins or eating food such as cereal/marmite fortified with b12, it may cause your test results to be in range even if you're not absorbing it and would need injections. Worth looking up the vitamin b12 wake up group if you're on Facebook.

My folate was similar last autumn and I was having irregular heart beats and fatigue. I took supplements and that has begun to improve. My b12 and ferritin dropped though as a result. your b12 is low so i would get proper advice first

I'm hypothyroid and on thyroxine; those results would mostly be ok for me personally. Higher ones would Probably make me make sure I'm taking it properly before a dose change. I definitely need more if it's consistently tsh 1.5- 2.

You need a good level of ferritin to help thyroid levels, dietary iodine (dairy/ fish) and selenium and magnesium are also really important. Vit d, folate and b12 need to be good too to rule out symptoms being caused by them if tsh fluctuates.

Don't supplement the b12 till you've had more advice

@givemeanother @yellowpostitnote thank you both for replying and for the advice. These test results are from last year but the doctors said everything was fine but I generally feel unwell most days upon waking, suffer with regular headaches, fatigue, dizzy spells, palpitations and aching joints.

I've booked in to request more bloods are taken and want to feel a little more informed when the results come back so that if things are the same I can advocate for myself a little better

If it helps, the gp tested for coeliac as I've other symptoms; long term tingling / burning issues, fatigue

I'm going to be asking to rule out pernicious anaemia as I've always supplemented which may hide that. If it's no I'm going private.

It could all be a result of hypothyroidism in me but I want to be sure

I think I have some underlying auto immune problem.

Around 10 years ago I had a year of joint pain and swelling that moved around the body, and was subsequently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I was given medication but after around 6 months I stopped taking it as the symptoms didn't seem to match RA to me, and they went away.

Over the years I've had interchangeable symptoms, some periods symptoms free and others when I've felt really ill. But I can't quite piece it all together
