I stopped hrt at 58 as I can't get through to the GP.
All ok then dizzy spells started.
Agreed to go back to hrt despite depression symptoms.
Today the horrible eyes thing happened.
Dimming of sight followed by white zig zag lights.
I'm waiting for a GP call and my blood pressure is 110/80.
Anyone had this.
I'm post menopause.

Yes. It was during a time of super high stress when I was travelling back and forth to be with my terminally ill DSis. I was tired, stressed and it was specific overhead lighting that caused it. Happened a couple of times, the worst one when I stopped at a service station. Very scary but as soon as I went back out into the daylight it cleared.
The second time was at work when the LED overhead lighting was flickering. Nothing since then.
I put it down to the unique combination of circumstances.
I had no headache or other symptoms just the weird eye symptoms exactly as you described. It was like a veil of lace across my vision with weird snake like arcs of light.
I think if it had happened again I would have seen my GP but had nothing since.

Just to add I am post menopause and haven’t taken HRT for 3.5 yrs.

I've had it a few times over the last year - first time when I was in a sports hall with loads of strip lights, which I blamed it on and twice more outside when it was sunny. All times it cleared within 15-20 mins. I'm 60, but never taken HRT.

I actually had a few before I went on HRT and none (so far) since. It was during a period when I was very stressed.
