Chilblain help!

Hi, the cold weather has sparked off what I'm assuming are chilblains on my fingers (thanks Reynauds) and the itching is driving me mad! Any suggestions for anything I can use/get to relieve it? Using unscented handcream at the moment but it's not really having any impact. Thanks!

There used to be an ointment called Snowfire. Not sure if it still exists?

My granny used to put mustard on chilblains.

Gp prescribed antihistamine, antibiotics (when they got infected), hydrocortisone cream, unscented moisturiser, warm gloves and socks slowly warm skin up for dd when it was bad. Eventually prescribed nifedipine which was/is a miracle drug.

My DD uses capascin cream recommended by podiatry. It is her feet!
But seems to really help

I suffer with them on my toes and would also recommend snowfield, it comes as a stick a bit like lip balm , you can get it from amazon . This defo takes the itching away.

Thank you everyone, snowfire now on order! Hopefully it arrives before I itch my fingers off (trying to avoid rubbing etc but do it before I've noticed)
