Just noticed a slight lump on the front of my neck

It’s about the size of an adult finger print and just to the right of the centre of my neck about two thirds of the way down.

Not sure whether I should get it checked or whether I will look ridiculous. It’s only very slightly raised and not painful or anything.

should I just watch and wait to see what it does ie whether it goes down or gets bigger?

I'm in a similar position, noticed a lump in the front of my neck 3 weeks ago, went to gp and had blood tests for thyroid all came back normal so was put on the 2ww for ent. I have my appt on Tuesday, it says it's only a consult appt so not sure an ultrasound or anything will be done
