contraception and lutenising hormone ...........................can someone help explain hormones and menopause and babies to me

...........ok i went and got the results of my blood test and i have raised level of one hormone and normal levels of lutneising hormone

but i am 51 this month

so the gp has suggested i have a mirena coil

i asked her if it is necessary at my age and she said yes you could get pregnant

i had a thread before about the risks

does anyone know about hormones

It would be a bit ironic if you got pregnant then!
