Can this be a knot?

Hey. About three weeks ago I had pains shooting down my right arm like a mild nerve pain, a tight neck/upper back (all on the right side) and when I would lean on the right side of my back (like sitting in a chair more on my right side) I would get this weird chest pain.. but as soon as I would take pressure off my back it would stop. So I got my husband to feel around and he could feel a knot there and he did his best to get it out. A few days later, the tension in my neck/ back eased and pretty much disappeared, and my chest pain definitely went down to a mild feeling. But 3 weeks later now & the chest pain is very mild and not bothering me, but it's still there. When I lean on my back. There is still a knot there as my husband didn't completely get rid of it. But I'm just wondering if pain like that can be a symptom of a knot? Has anyone had any experiences like this? I've been to my doctor several times and all he's doing is sending me for an ecg so far. Which is annoying because it's more like something around my heart, or nerves being pressed on or something. Thanks x

Like I said I have been to the gp. And it's only when I lean on right of my back. And like I said, it doesn't feel like it's my heart, it feels like it's around it or to the right of it slightly

If you've been to your GP, it certainly wouldn't hurt to think about getting an osteopath or chiropracter to look at you neck/upper spine.

Problems with the muscles in your back can create referred pain to other parts of your body.
