First week of Invisalign

Has anyone else had Invisalign and had the same issues? I feel like I’ve just been sent off without any info from my dentist provider…
The trays feel so tight and it’s such hard work getting them out!
The attachments are so rough and sharp and have given me ulcers on my lip.
I get headaches and jaw ache when I put them back on after eating and can only face eating mush…
I am on day 3 now - how long does it take before it gets better???

Oh you poor thing! That sounds miserable.

It does take a little while to get used to them, but I didn't have any of those issues.

The trays do loosen up over the two weeks, but did they show you how to remove the them by loosening the corners? You can also get a little appliance thing that loosens them - I did have one but didn't need it. And did they give you dental wax for the attachments for when you have the trays out?

I'd get in touch with the dentist and tell them.

This hasn't been my experience. It will be uncomfortable as it's moving your teeth, but not to that level.

Go back to your dentist.

Hi! The first week or two is absolutely ROUGH, you are not alone! I panicked about 3 days in because I just didn't understand how my mouth would get used to the attachments being so sharp if I was wearing the aligners 99% of the time. Can confirm two years later having finished treatment that it does get better.
I highly recommend buying an aligner removal tool!!! You can get them on amazon very cheaply. I wish I'd bought mine sooner than I did as it would have made taking them in/out a lot easier! Get one of these ASAP, you will probably feel when you first use it that you are going to yank too hard and break the aligners, but don't worry - try using the tool in different places (i normally aimed for the inside of my back teeth) and sometimes if you have a particular big attachment or protuding tooth you need to loosen things up there too.
In my experience, it got a lot better throughout the second week. Then after that, I'd only have a few hours of discomfort when I changed trays. I used to change mine right before bed, so an hour before I'd take a couple of ibuprofen, then put my trays in and go to bed and that really helped.
It is rubbish, you have my sympathies. I am SO happy i stuck with it though!

Echo what @Daisyvodka said, my first week was very similar but I stuck with it and so glad I did

get one of these - it’s a must https://amzn.eu/d/4APwN5V

I found it really hard at first. Every time I removed the trays it felt as though I was pulling my teeth out. It got better quickly though once I developed a decent technique.
