Sorry about the gross pic but does this looks like Athletes foot?

We’re quite a few days into treatment and I’m not sure I can see much improvement.

Yes I would say it does! Lamasil once is amazing but you need to be over 18 to do it - is this a child's foot?

Thanks - it is my son’s foot. Pharmacist actually gave him Lamasil after I only showed his hands (there wasn’t the peeling skin on his hands). I read the leaflet and saw that it’s not meant for under 18’s but checked with another Pharmacist who still said it was okay to use.

Hopefully it was clear up soon!

I know this is an old thread, just sharing some tips about Athletes Foot:

  1. make sure you wash your socks, towels and anything else that comes into contact with your feet with a special antifungal detergent such as Halo Sport (available from most supermarkets). Normal antibacterial stuff won't work. Athletes foot is terrible for reinfection because the fungus stays in your socks etc and will reinfect you unless you use an antifungal detergent.

  2. Lamisil Once is about the only thing that seems to work for treating Athletes Foot. It's a one off treatment so you don't have to faff around.
