Sinus or tooth pain ?

Only saw the dentist 3 weeks ago and all was fine except my teeth grinding and dentist said the muscles on my jaw are being overused. Just before Christmas Day I got a cold, not so much a runny nose, well it was runny but it’s been more stuffy and a cough, cough has gone but my nose feels blocked still and pressure around eyes, forehead etc and nose not so runny now which is for me is worse as it’s all congested. Last two nights my mouth as been so dry too! I keep drinking water and was woken up by snoring apparently my nose was all stuffed. Last night I woke up and took 2 panadol and my upper cheek/jaw and feels like tooth is achey went away. Today at around 2 I took Sudafed and helped with my nose to be honest, slightly more clear but the upper cheek and jaw ache is still achey. Warmed up towel as helped. As I said I clench and grind too so not sure that is helping me at all X Thinking of going back to dentist or is the GP I need! Or just both to rule both out. Does it sound more like sinus or tooth issue?

I’m not an expert, but it does sound like sinus pain to me. Have you tried using steam to help clear it? Standing in a hot shower (as hot as you can tolerate) will help. Also, it’s worth looking up facial massages to help clear sinuses online. I hope you feel better soon.

Some of my worst bouts of toothache have been put down to a sinus toothache by my dentist. For now I’d keep up with the Sudafed unless it gets worse.
