Bloody Painful Shoulder!

Hi all,
I'm normally good at treating aches & pains but this is day 5 of an extremely painful shoulder going from mildly achy to a burning sensation, moving around my back at night, down my arm.
I've been sleeping so badly & has been pretty miserable as I can't exercise.
Trying hot baths/ice packs/wheat packs/ibroprofen, stretching - not shifting.
Can anyone advise? Any miracle over the counter medicines or thoughts?
Have got family with high expectations coming tomorrow to stay til Monday :(
Too tired & in pain to even think about buying more food/entertaining!
....any advice very welcome!

Does it fit the symptoms for a frozen shoulder? They're apparently v painful. But there are some ways of treating it so you should book to see your GP ASAP.

Go to GP to get the ball rolling. You may need to press to get a scan.

I’m 5 months into a frozen shoulder and I wish I had gone to GP sooner. Once I did seek help I first got a weeks worth of strong pain killer (did nothing), then referral to Physio. The Physio referred me for steroid injection Which I had a few weeks ago and now I am having weekly hands-on physio (careful manipulation of the joint) and it’s finally, but very slowly, starting to improve.

It’s horrible pain OP and so debilitating. I hope you get sorted soon
