Argh has anyone had this and sorted it? I have it on my torso where anything causes friction. So bra straps, where my arm meets my body, any skin that touches skin when I sit down. I’m middle aged and there’s some hormone component as it seems to get worse when I get my period (I’m on HRT). I am now trying to wear soft cotton tops with inbuilt support but my chest is large and I need good support 🥴

Currently I have about 20/30 big red sports on my torso. They start off a bit itchy. If I rub them they bleed, no pus. I don’t think they are blisters. They just look like very angry red spots and they fade and go away in about a week.

Are u sure its not hidrentis supportiva not sure if I’ve spelt that correctly because that’s what I’ve got and I thought it was folluculitus years ago, but I don’t think it is plus mine gets worse around my period time

Hmmmm. I’ve looked at photos and no, it doesn’t look like that. I have diagnosed myself so of course I could be wrong but I think it’s friction folliculitus. It’s generally where my bra sits against my body or my skin rubs against my skin.

Maybe see a doctor? Your HRT could be causing it.
Hives are a common side effect of combined HRT.
Might be happening when you stop taking the progesterone component of combined HRT to cause the fake period which is really a HRT withdrawal bleed.

Hmmm I didn’t think they were hives but now I don’t know. You’re right I need to get someone to actually tell me what they are.
