I've got this in the corner of my mouth and it's doing my head in. I'm using Daktarin but is there anything else that will get rid of it quick before Christmas ?

I get this when my iron is low. Get checked.

Try some anti fungal cream, always clears mine up over night

I used to get this chronically and took L Lysine vitamin and it really helped. You get it in health food shop

I got rid of mine by dabbing a cotton bud in mouthwash and then applying to the corner of my mouth.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 20/12/2024 22:44

Ooo I'll try that in the morning @DianaRiggsCatsuit

I get this if I've been eating something I'm intolerant to (causes for me are soya, palm fats, xantham gum and quite a list of others). Fucidin H is my go to cream to sort it out but it'll just keep coming back if I'm still eating something I can't tolerate.

Hello all. Just wanted to share in the hopes this could help someone else as much as it helped me.

I used to get severe angular Cheilitis multiple times a year for at least a decade. I would always have to take antibiotics to cure it. I tried multiple things like diet and vitamins but the thing that made a difference (strangely enough) was my toothpaste! I think I found a thread on Reddit which recommended the Weleda Calendula toothpaste. I get mine on Amazon.

honestly since starting it a couple of years ago I have not had one flare up. Highly recommend - it’s a life saver!

That’s really interesting @MummaNeedsHelp90 I use special toothpaste as it is though and it’s prescribed so I don’t think I can change

I get this when I’m going low on folic acid. When I add folic acid supplements it starts going away.
