swollen lymph nodes in supraclavicular region??

so last night I found a lump that is soft round and moveable in the dip of my collarbone . Went to the doctor today and she confirmed it was bigger than a pea but wasn’t worried as it wasn’t hard or un moveable but ordered bloods and ultrasound . But now I’m reading that lumps in the supraclavicular area are always abnormal and a sign of cancer in most cases . I’ve had no infections so it’s not that. She said with swollen glands in that area she’d be thinking stomach cancer but she said it’s very unlikely that I have that at 23 but with stomach aches I’m actually starting to worry now : what are the chances this isn’t sinister ? I mean can nodes just pop out of nowhere ?

First thing is to not panic. Second thing is to get it looked at which you did so that's good.
No one in here can tell you what it is but the fact that it is soft and movable is good. A cancerous lymph node is hard and won't move.
Now stay off google and try and distract yourself. 🙂

Thank you . I’ve just been reading that in some cases if it’s cancer the nodes can still be palpable which worries me 😢

I have a small pretty palpable lymph node under my collarbone that I've been able to feel since I was about...25? I'm now 37 and have not had any lymphatic cancers. I can also feel the ones on the back of my neck where my spine meets my head, ones in my groin, ones in my armpit etc...all of these have been the same for 15-20 years (when I first started paying attention) and are all totally fine.

Soft and movable is good. Ignore Google, I'm also not sure why the doc would even mention stomach cancer in this context?

I think she mentioned it because swollen nodes in that area are responsible for the lower half of your organs etc . Apparently is just an abnormal place to be ? I’ve had no infections or anything so I’m wondering why it would just pop up so randomly !

Did they order the ultrasound under the two week referral pathway?
It most likely is nothing but I can understand your concern. I hope you get answers soon

Honestly, given your age and (I assume) lack of stomach cancer symptoms that's a hell of random thing to throw in there. Not sure what your GP was thinking with that one.

It's incredibly likely to be nothing, if you're experiencing stomach problems now, they are extremely common when you're stressed or anxious. Believe me, I can tell you that from experience.

The only symptoms I have are extreme fatigue and I had an abnormally long period , which ended after 8 days but it kind of feels like mild period cramps even tho it’s ended 🙃 god knows at this point
