Could it be a cavity? I've been so careful. What will they do if it is? He's only 4. I feel terrible.
Dentist tomorrow

What does capping involve?

Could be decay. It could be an area where the enamel is weaker.

Hope the dentist is helpful. Don't feel bad, some children are naturally prone to weak teeth unfortunately even when you look after them properly.

he will lose it soon though won't he. is it a milk tooth?

BottlebinBerrie · 29/04/2008 11:14

My teeth are like battleships, I don't really have any experience of tooth problems.

I've done everything you are supposed to...if his teeth are this dodgy, how will I protect him any further?

Shouldn't witter until I know really...

Yes it's a milk tooth but he's only 4.

the dentist hopefully will advise you, i have to take my ds(6) tomorrow too, rotten tooth that other dentist thinks i should just leave. i'm paying for this appointment so hopefully they may take a little more time than the nhs one.

BottlebinBerrie · 29/04/2008 21:23

Oh I hope mine just wants to leave it, I can't imagine how else he'd ever let the dentist do anything.
