Tingling hands and feet

Hi all

I'm so fed up. I keep getting pins and needles in my hands and feet and this is predominantly at night. It has disturbed my sleep for the last month or so. I have had three instances where I have woken to a completely dead arm - upon wiggling it feeling comes back. Last week I had terrible shoulder pain under my shoulder and struggled to sleep and turn my neck. This has now resolved. But I'm still getting pins and needles at night. I've had blood work done at the GP and supposedly all normal. They've said possible carpel tunnel but this doesn't account for the pins and needles in the feet either. Any ideas? I'm contemplating it's hormone related but only 38.

If anyone has any advice or has experienced the same I'd be grateful ☺️

@timeforachange999 I have been taking a vitamin B complex so that would have additional B6 in! Have you experienced this? I've never heard of it!

Yes I took high dose B vitamins for years and really suffer from the low blood volume caused by nerve damage (brain fog and dizziness). I have some tingling and numbness but not that much (mainly fingertips). It's pretty hard to prove though as blood levels of vitamin b6 drop quickly after stopping supplements. The website and the facebook group are really helpful but basically if you switch to a low b6 diet (RDA) you can flush the excess B6 out of the nerves.
I've also had periods of a dead arm at night but always assumed it was when I slept with my arm above my head and not connected. That seems to happen in phases.

@timeforachange999 I'm so sorry to hear that you still suffer but thank you - I hadn't realised it was possible to overdose. Just had a look at my tablets and they're 900% of my daily allowance! Think I'll cut them out and see what happens!

Very interesting to read about the B6 toxicity.
One of my GPs suggested I try taking B12 supplements.
I was also tested for cholesterol levels, as one doctor said she had heard of high levels causing symptoms. Mine was on the top of 'normal' but I'm now trying a low-dose statin to see if bringing the level down has any effect on the other symptoms.
