Toddler has no room for canine?

My 16month old has all 8 incisors on top and bottom and her 2 top canines and 1 bottom canine , she also has 4 of her molars.
her bottom incisor is right beside her molar and there isn’t a for her canine (the incisor seems a bit of a different shape also) .. will the canine make space itself?
I can’t imagine how a dentist appointment would go with a 16month old but does she need to go ?

It's good to start taking to the dentist now just so they get used to it and have the practice, and to be registered in case of a need in the future.

if it comes up, you may find it erupts in an odd place.

That being said, she may not have one, my DD is missing a canine and one of the other teeth is very small, neither the baby nor adult ever appeared and upon x-ray, the dentist told me it never formed and it isn't rare apparently.

I am wondering if she just doesn’t have it (and prob won’t have the adult one either ) as I myself am missing my adult lateral incisors and I think that it can be genetic 🤔
