Coil help - where to go

I need some opinions, I've had the copper coil fitted for over a year, recently I've been getting pain and bleeding which is getting slightly worse, by no means am in agony though.

Had a scan to find both arms are embedded in my uterus around 1cm both sides, they told me to go back to GP to discuss options.
My GP has phoned me today and told me in no way will they be trying to remove it at the surgery due to the position, I asked about referral to gyne at the hospital. They replied to say it would be weeks waiting and that's too long to wait to try get it out. All they could advise was to try iCash or head to A&E.

I've called iCash to be told pretty much the same, they don't think it's safe to try it there in case of a complication.

So I'm left with A&E but I really don't think I'm at that level, certainly not pain wise. But if 2 medical professionals have said that's my option, is it stupid to ignore it?
My GP also said they can't do an urgent referral because it's only for the cancer pathway, which obviously isn't what I need.

I'm so torn on what to do here, clearly it needs to come out one way or another.

Just wanted to get some other opinions because I can't decide if it's best to do as they've said or push for the standard referral, hoping it doesn't fully perforate or get infected in the time between?

How awful for you. Can you afford to refer privately? You need a gynae referral but slightly risky to have it removed anywhere but in hospital.

I can't afford a private referral, I did consider it earlier but it's just not feasible 😫
