I don’t know what to do anymore.
all started 3 weeks ago when I was on holiday in Yorkshire. I had fish and chips and that night I was in agony. The whole holiday I couldn’t leave the house as I wad diarrhoea every 5-10 mins with such urgency. I pooed the bed multiple times.
i tried absolutely everything, 10s of Imodium, gut health stuff, liquid iv.. nothing. The cramping was insane.
last week it was still really bad and I couldn’t leave the house much but this week it’s gone awful again. The weight is falling off me ( a stone in 2 weeks), I can’t eat a thing and when I do it feels like it’s stuck in my stomach. The diarrhoea is with such urgency I struggle to make it in time. It’s bright yellow and gassy/greasy. The wind is horrific. I have a horrible acid taste in my throat all the time. I’m so mentally drained and exhausted. Iv barely slept longer than 30 mins a time. I’m struggling to take my kids school.
im waiting for the doctor to ring me but when I rang them the first week they said there wasn’t anything they could do and to not take imodium.
im self employed and really really need to work.
im having such bad stomach cramps it feels like im in early labour. Mostly in the centre under my ribs or on my left side. But also in my back.
please help, I really don’t know what to do.
