Have you tried changing your washing powder to see if its allergy related?

Have you got a cat or dog? Or did the person who lived in your home before you?

Could be an allergic reaction maybe to washing liquid or powder. Or something she's even eating

Looks kind of like an allergy rash. Does she have it on areas her clothes don't touch like face, hands etc?

DangerMouseAndPenfoldx · 04/11/2024 18:23

Looks like hives. Does it calm down with an antihistamine? If so, then it’s just a case of finding out what the trigger is.

Pityriasis rosea?

Waytooearlytogetup · 04/11/2024 18:27

There's a huge upsurge in scabies cases across the country at the min. Might be worth a look at some of the images of that to see if it looks similar close up.

I second it looking like pityriasis, one of my kids had it. We were referred to a specialist (as there are different types) and prescribed a specific cream for flare ups.

I had pitriasoriasis rosea and it looked a lot like this. It started on my torso and chest, and eventually moved to my arms/legs. Insanely itchy. I thought it was chickenpox but i'd already had it. Did your child have a low level cold at the start? Was there an original patch which came up and was red/itchy but bigger than the rest? Those are usually signs. I had it twice, first time was pregnant so couldn't take a thing. It took forever to go away. Second time I wasn't pregnant so they gave me a steroid pack and a 2% hydracortisone cream and it disappered in a few days. Things that really helped when I couldn't take any medication were using head and shoulders shampoo to wash my hair and body every time. I hate the stuff but it really helped. Also oatmeal body lotion. Theres a lot of blogs online that recommend using H&S if it is this.
