I have a Dr appt for something else next week so will discuss then.
But the story here is strange. I hope it's ok to run it past you and see what you think?
Since my 20's very occasionally experience knee pain which can just as suddenly vanish. It is quite painful, worse when going downstairs, but has never interfered with my life. It doesn't swell or go red. It reoccurs rarely.
In 2010 I was 36 and that year I had broke up with my DP and felt very stressed and down. In the November I developed a mild pain in my fingers and toes that hurt on initial flexing or bending. My knees were the worst, felt very painful as if hit by a brick on the front cap.
I had no swelling, stiffness or redness.
I saw the GP and had blood tests for RA and Lupus, all came back normal. She tested my strength, did a squeeze test and checked other things at the appointments. Eventually she concluded it had something to do with 'cartilage' and off I went.
It resolved months later and that was that.
14 yrs later it's popped up again this week. Same issue, almost exactly. I am now 50 and just into meno. It's odd that it's so similar, so of course I worried about RA but it doesn't have any other symptoms, I am not tired or unwell, and have a good range of motion. No swelling, redness or real stiffness.
I do occasionally get the bad knees but usually once a year or less. This is like the 2010 problem again, so I am really confused and wondered what you think?
I have no other meno issues apart from hot flushes. If it was meno, I wonder why it also occurred in my thirties?
I am also going to ask about vit D.
