Hey guys,Hoping to get some advice, i always wear my hair up in a bun every day( i suffer from anxiety and am not comfortable wearing my hair a different way even though id love to ) I try not to have it tight and use a soft hairband designed not to pull hairs,But I've noticed My hair thinning at the front but there does seem to be small hairs growing back. Can anyone recommend anything to use long term to help it grow back. I'm only 28 and no receding hair line history in the family.I'm using hair loss shampoo but don't know if it's helping 🤔

Your hairline doesn't look too bad from your photos. But you are the one that knows what it looked like before compared to now.

It could be that you may be on the way to developing traction alopecia if you don't adopt a hairstyle that doesn't put tension on your scalp and hair follicles.

There's quite a bit of info on the web and heres's a link to a UK site. But therecare lots of others.

I know it's hard to change when you are used to having your hair a certain way. However, you need to stop having your hair up in a bun all the time.

If you hate having your hair on your face (I do!), just try having it down more and use slides etc to keep it in check. But the main thing is to just let it down and give your hair and scalp a rest. You may even get a few compliments from others for changing up your look, which should help with any anxiety you have.

Good luck OP!

Traction Alopecia (hair loss)

Traction Alopecia is when hair falls out because it has been pulled in the same way for a long time. This condition is often caused by tight hairstyles, relaxers or extensions.

About five years ago, the outer third of my eyebrows were noticeably thinning, as was left side of my widows peak.
I started (everyday) using black castor oil on those two areas ... about six months ago... could've been longer.., I didn't mention this to anyone, as I didn't think that any real difference would've made.
I was wrong!
My partner has asked me what I've been doing, as he actually noticed an improvement in the thickness - Yay!
I don't know if this might work for you, but Barbara O'Neal recommends this in her videos....
