Surgery Long term effects

I wonder if anyone has any idea on my situation.
Multiple surgeries with general anaesthetics, usually recovered normally.
Surgery number 6 I just never properly recovered from. I never got my energy levels back, couldn't walk far and eventually was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and later ME/CFS
I know this sounds weird but after this surgery if I leaned to the side when sitting down I could hear a clicking sound coming from my heart. Other people could hear it too. Went to GP obviously didn't happen when i was there! Had more surgery a year later and following that it had stopped.
Any ideas what it could have been? It was the start of my health deteriorating and i've been too ill to do much of anything for years now.
I get breathless, dizzy so can't stand for long, exhausted, tinnitus, dry eyes, pain all over, unrefreshed sleep, can sleep all day but can't sleep at night (sleep hygiene doesn't work) joint pain, post exertion malaise if I do anything, mobility is really bad, in bed all the time, sometimes no energy to even wash, hubby has to do everything.
Could the surgery or anaesthetic have caused this? Should I get my heart checked?
The surgery was year ago now by i'm so ill,
Any ideas please help!!!

Hi OP something in your post resonated with me OP. I have had multiple abdominal surgeries, and had similar since. I had sepsis during some of it, and also recurrent shingles in the aftermath. It's been 12 yrs now since the last one, still having ongoing problems which are now combining with the perimenopause so I'm unsure how much that is contributing.

Doctors think it is 'depression' but it is much more than that. I also have tinnitus but that is since having a shingles episode on the ear. I think we have. a lot of physical and mental trauma from surgery, especially emergency surgery. Family don't really understand and say things like surely that is healed by now.

Have you had your vitamin B 12 vitamin D and ferritin levels checked? The description of fatigue, breathlessness, and the rest of what you witter could all be attributed to chronic deficiencies

I'm really sorry you're dealing with all of this, it sounds overwhelming. It’s definitely worth getting your heart checked, especially since you noticed the clicking sound after surgery and now have symptoms like breathlessness and fatigue. Surgeries and anesthesia can sometimes have lasting effects, so it wouldn’t hurt to consult a cardiologist. I hope you can find some answers soon!
