Dd is 22 and still lives at home wh I le her and partner save deposit for first house.
She is a primary teacher but even so she is constantly ill, even in holidays. She has terrible night sweats to the point her bf thought she had wet the bed. Recently she has had 3 unexplained painless bruises on her thighs which don't look like bumps more a bleed under the skin, they are about 1.5-2 inches on diameter.
I don't want to scare her but I think leukaemia should be ruled out?

I think she needs checked out. I would be worried too - particularly about the night sweats.

I would suggest she speaks to her GP for a blood test for anemia.

I had this. My gp did urgent bloods that were fine. I phoned them on Monday, bloods Tuesday and results Wednesday.

She needs to say what the concern actually is, not make up something like anaemia. That way the GP has a fighting chance of asking the right questions/ordering the right investigations/referring with the appropriate sense of urgency.

Sorry I wasn't clear, OP doesn't want to worry her DD. I was suggesting she tells her DD to see a GP because she might be anaemic - of course I thought it went without saying that the DD was describe her symptoms to the doctor.

I'm sorry for any confusion I wasn't suggesting she turn up an the GP and request a specific blood test Blush
