Here is my post from AIBU

No more bedwetting issues but I've now had 3 days of nitrofurantoin which helped for 3 days then the symptoms came back. GP gave me selexid, 3 days of this helped now two days later the symptoms are starting again.

Gave GP surgery a urine sample on Monday & bought some sticks for myself. The GP sample was whilst I was still taking the selexid - I've just spoken to them & the test was all clear, unlike my dip sticks which are not. Colour also normal & not cloudy.

Did one just now & it shows various markers including non hemolyzed blood, high pH, bilirubin etc so I'm confused.

Given the antibiotics have helped initially presumably that's proof of it being a UTI of some sort? Were it something else more sinister they wouldn't work at all?

GP calling me this afternoon so I'll see what she says - anything I should ask for? This is my first uti (that I know of) so I'm a bit naive here.

For info - 46, still having regular periods, definitely peri.

NC for this & MN will be able to see I'm not a perv or troll. Last night, at the end of my shift, I clocked I needed a wee, put it off thinkin...
