Can anyone offer any advice (post menopausal)

I'm long past the menopause (came quite early for me at 46) and feel like I should be taking supplements of some sort to keep me in good health. A friend was aghast that I take nothing, but the reason is that I just don't know what I should be taking, the internet is pretty confusing in this respect.

I had breast cancer 5 years ago and had my ovaries removed too. I have a little rheumatoid arthritis in my feet, knees and hips that I really don't want to get any worse at all. I struggle with such sensitive skin post menopause and I have zero sex drive whatsoever and I was desperately like to do something about the in particular. I've been to my GP (young female) who basically said 'it comes to us all' while her male counterpart suggested a multivitamin which I just don't think is going to cut the mustard. I would really appreciate any advice, in particular, I want to look after my bones and while I don't expect to be swinging from the chandeliers, would love to have some kind of libido back.

Vitamin B complex for energy.
Vitamin D3 and K2 for bones.
A good quality omega 3 for joints.
Although you don’t mention sleep, a magnesium would be good too, so I’d add magnesium glycinate at bedtime.
And I’d be interested to know about the libido too.

Thank you so much, I know I sound like a fool, but any recommendations on good brands?

I get the vit B complex from Boots, and the D3/K2 and omega 3 from Nutravita.
Then the mag glyc I use is Nutravita but from Amazon, I’ve never found it on their website.
The omega 3 is 240 softgels with a white/blue label.

Agree with a bone supplement, vitamin D. I’ve started taking the happy metals magnesium and it’s helping my sleep.

Make sure you’re doing some weight bearing exercise for your bones.

I would also aim to reduce inflammation to help with the RA. Turmeric. But maybe look into what you eat? There’s an instgrammar with RA who has turned her life around and managed her illness with the help of her diet.

Brilliant, thank you. I feel like I wasn't taken at all seriously by either of the GPs at my practice and was kind of fobbed off as 'past her best' and therefore, rather unimportant. When I mentioned my lack of sex drive my GP almost sniggered and raised her eyerows and I just felt embarrassed.

How crap @YesIJudge Can you go see another GP? She sounds terrible.

I saw the other GP in the practice but he was worse. I tried to transfer to a different practice (I live in a village and there are only two in the nearest small town) but they were over capacity and couldn't take me.
