Sea sickness / mal de debarquement syndrome

Last time I went on a moving boat it was quite choppy and I felt seasick within about 20 minutes. The time before that it was still (boat at anchor) I was fine for 3 days, but couldn't shake the mal de debarquement feeling for about 10 days afterwards (typical symptoms last about 24 hours!)

I am due to be spending 7 days on a boat soon. It will be in a marina so hopefully the seasickness won't be an issue, but I am concerned about the mal de debarquement (the feeling of still being on the boat, even when you are on land - it feels like you are rocking/swaying when you're not)

Any hints/tips/old wive tales gratefully received. Thank you
