How do I know if my contact lenses are right for me?

So I am trialling contact lenses. The prescription sort of seems ok apart from one blurry blob in my right eye. But sometimes I blink and the blur disappears for a few seconds but then it comes back. Have I just got some gunk trapped behind the lens? If so why won’t it go, does it mean they’re not a good fit for my actual eyeball.

Is that the only pair that has that issue? Are they dailies where you can try another pair?

They’re dailies, so I have a few more I can try. This is my first pair. Good idea, I can see what the others are like. If I get the same issue is it worth trying a different brand?

You often have to try a few brands. When you find contacts that are comfortable enough to wear for a good few hours (preferably all day) you can see clearly, and your eyes don't get dry - they are the right ones.

Do you have astigmatism? If so, you might find toric lenses more comfortable as they fit the astigmatic eyeball better.

Why don’t you speak to the optometrist that prescribed you the lenses?

I will when I go back in 2 weeks but just wanted some opinions in the mean time.

Thanks, yes I do have astigmatism. Will ask about torics, thanks.
