Hi Just wanted to started a thread for anyone suffering so we can support each other. I’ve been suffering for a long time and finally decided to see the Gp so hoping to get some answers! If anyone got answers and treatment let me know x

If they did the photo of the black of your eyes I think it would because it shows up as swollen optic nerves @Zeusee1

I had it and was investigated rather quickly during Covid
They did find a brain tumour but its not dangerous and VERY slow growing. Mine hasnt grown in 3 years.
Im am slowly losing my hearing on that side though, which is annoying
(Have to have brain scans and hearing tests yearly)

The tinnitus can be pulsating - or like static which is more annoying

Its bloody annoying i know that and sympathise with you all

Is it an acoustic neuroma by any chance?

This is an interesting thread. I've had this on & off for years but I had surgery on my ear when I was young. Ive pretty much lost most of my hearing in that ear & i always have a ringing in it. I thought it was an ageing after effect. I didn't think it could need more investigation. It was quite bad a few weeks ago but it's calmed down now. I do get it intermittently.
