Covid after sepsis

Does anyone have any experience of Covid following sepsis?
I had sepsis in May this year, two spells in hospital first one 8 days on IV antibiotics and second on IV again but 4 days.
I’ve been very tired easily, more aches and pains and generally life is a bit harder.
I’ve tested positive today for Covid - first time - I’ve been lucky! I think my immune system is on its knees along with my energy levels.
Im worried this Covid is going to take some battling to get over. I dread long covid!
Anyone got any tips to help?
Thank you.

No but I have a weak immune system due to medication.
First time with covid was shocking. Hospital 10 days, very ill, 3 months recovery.
Second time it was a 3 day sniffle.
Third time in may this year it was rough for about 2 weeks then another 3 weeks of fatigue. On this occasion I had antivirals.
In spite of the severity 1st time round I had no long covid.

Not Covid, having had a non covid infection after having sepsis in March I would say don’t underestimate the effect on your energy levels of an infection you would have shaken off before.

How are you feeling?

I had sepsis about six months ago. I got Covid in July four weeks after finishing chemo. It was even milder than a head cold. You’ll be fine.

I haven't had COVID but I have had sepsis and for the last 5 years I've battles infection after infection, flu, viral meningitis, you name it. Your body has taken a beating with sepsis and in my experience it does, unfortunately weaken your immune system badly

Thanks all, yes my energy levels are much lower than they were before sepsis and this covid has me on my knees.
Mostly sore throat and cough, but very tired. I’ve passed it onto DH and he’s suffering with a bad headache which I don’t have.
