Does anyone use anything to stop water getting into their ears while showering? I'm getting persistent ear infections.

Just that really, it's been suggested that keeping my ears dry when showering might help prevent the ear infections I get every few months.
Does anyone recommend any products for this?
I guess ear covers, ear plugs etc.
I don't want to wear a shower cap cos' I do want to wash my hair.
Thanks.

I have been told by a few of the people who have had the (dubious) pleasure of looking into my ears that I have quite steep and narrow ear canals and this might be a contributing factor.

Yes. Having a narrow canal is a factor. My daughter has one much narrower than the other. No prizes for guessing which one kept getting infected 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. Plus when her skin is dry it sheds - think light eczema. So the amount of wax (which is really just dead skin) means she has loads of ear wax. So what we focus on is getting her see dry once it's been wet. All the contraptions that stop water getting in was taking all the fun away.

Blutac works really well!

I have this thought that blutac wasn't designed for putting in ears and may contain some dodgy stuff to make it sticky etc.
Knowing my luck, it will get sucked into my ears and then continue to my brain.
