Can you adjust the step distance on it?

marina · 17/04/2008 16:33

The Omron the bootcampers use says in its instructions NOT suitable for running or step work

hercules1 · 17/04/2008 16:33

Yes, it's just a cheapy (5 pounds from tesco).
It does calories and distance too.

you can try but I think your case might be dismissed as spurious

Bugger, that was a waste of a fiver then.

I used a cheapo one I had but you need to adjust the stride length. Not very accurate though.

It was an impulse buy. Cut it out of its packaging now as well . Looks like it will be car booted.

It'll measure your steps OK but for distance try MapMyRun. I'd do you a link but this laptop is crapola and I can't be ar$ed to wait 3 hours for the page to come up lol!

Popyscal told me the other day about that website. I have looked at it and used it. It is really good. Not sure why I felt the need really to buy the pedometer. I think it was the calorie thing that tempted me.
