Problem with DD hands when in water? Can anyone help?

Hi, my DD13 has an issue with her hands that started in December. When they are in the water for a short period they start to prune and after 10 minutes they become sore. It’s like she’s been in the bath for a long time but hasn’t.
We’ve been given creams by the doctor and as they haven’t helped she’s now had a blood test and they are waiting to hear from a paediatric consultant. The doctor we’ve been speaking to doesn’t know what it is and she’s also asked the advice of senior doctors and they too have not come across this before. If I google it nothing really comes up apart from it can be a symptom of cystic fibrosis but I don’t think it’s that.
Can anyone shed any light on this??
Just for info, DD is coeliac and has mild asthma.
The blood test also suggested her thyroid is slightly underactive.
Thank you for any info you may be able to give 😊

My son , now 19 , has always had this ! No idea why . He uses a thin layer of Vaseline which helps a bit .

I have an autoimmune disease and one of my first symptoms was pruning of my fingertips, but that was even out of water - it’s all stopped now the disease is being treated.

Is it only her hands? Wondering whether it could be aquagenic urticaria
