Dry cracked feet - what can I do?

Hi all - any suggestions for dealing cracks in my feet? We are camping in France in hot weather so I've been living in flip flops and skin on my foot has got dry and cracked. We have another week to go, what can I do while I'm here to fix the crack I have and to prevent more? Thanks.

You need a cream that has urea in the list of ingredients. The urea really does make a difference in improving cracked heels.
(If you were in the UK I would suggest Eucerin Urea Repair 10% or Flexitol heel balm.)

Go to a French pharmacy. They’ll help you.

If you have moisturiser then slather that on and wrap your feet in plastic. Cling film, plastic bags, I've been known to use bread bags (inside out or it can be a but crumby!!)

During the day spend as much time in the sea as possible, lean back on your heels and sort of grind them into the sand - it will exfoliate them and remove the dead skin.

Keep up the cream/plastic for three nights and they will be much better.

I have a condition that leaves me with horribly cracked feet sometimes... if you can get heel cream at a pharmacy then the above will work even better but any moisturiser will work.

My chiropodist recommended this, from Amazon

CCS Swedish Foot Heel Balm - 75g {Pack Of 2} [Misc.] [Personal Care]

It has made an amazing difference, and i would really recommend it

Yes to this. Look for urea as the main ingredient and I have found Eucerin urea repair 10% the only thing that works on my feet (also good for reducing the bumpy skin on the backs of my arms)

Diligently use it day and night and it starts improving the condition of the skin in about 3 days.
