Help am being indecisive about immunisations

My DS is suposed to have his 12 month hib and men c booster tomorrow but he's just finally well after weeks of colds and we were supposed to have a day away tomorrow. Basically I'm trying to justify delaying these boosters for what would end up being about a month as we're on holiday and have loads on this month. Also, by delaying it, he might be in better health/stronger in the warmer weather. What do you all think? Should I relax and do it at a more convenient time or bite the bullet and get on with it? Thanks in advance! x

Delaying by a month should be fine. they like to give the MMR at 13 months, but actually immunologists say that MMR should be given at between 15 and 18 months for optimum immunity, so if you have the booster next month hold out for another couple of months for the MMR. However, if you're going to fret about him not being protected [which is unlikely the booster is just to catch those who didn't get total immunity from the first jabs] get him done now.

I am doing the same - leaving MMR until the warmer weather and she will be 19m. Leave it until they are in really optimum health imo, the nurse actually agreed with me when I said that's what I was doing...
