Constant pelvic pain. GP or not to GP?

It's right where you get labour pains and what I remember as period pains (not had period pains since I first started my periods at 10! Have been lucky).

It is like a stabbing, pulling pain.

I've been getting it for about 6/7 weeks. I thought it might be ovulation pain, but it happens throughout my cycle.

No other symptoms. Periods normal and not painful. No bleeding in between periods

Is it worth a GP visit? Sometimes it gets really uncomfortable, like a constant pulling sensation

And sometimes if I cough or laugh, I get a real STAB exactly where the pain comes

Go and see the doctor, do you really have to ask?

HollyFern1110 · 05/06/2024 07:54

Yes, it's almost 8am - time to get on the phone for an appointment!

Probably nothing to worry about but it definitely needs checking.

Yes of course see the Dr

I experience this with my endometriosis. As others have said, get it checked out with the gp

Why would you not go to a GP with this?

(Actually, you know it’s ’worth’ going - are you hoping posters will say it’s nothing and you should forget about it?)

Do it now!

Thank you. Tried getting an appointment with no success sadly

Will try again tomorrow

I didn't think it would be endometriosis because I have never had painful periods, heavy periods etc

Not even a phone appointment?

Do you have a walk in centre?
