What feels like a hangover but definitely isn’t a hangover?

Fuzzy head, tingling fingertips, sluggishness, headache, ringing ears…

We ate out last night (Chinese) and definitely didn’t have a drop of alcohol. So not a hangover.

Woke up ‘oh I shouldn’t have had a drink… oh hang on I didn’t!’.

Could it be an allergy to something in the food (hadn’t eaten in this restaurant before and everyone else is fine)!

There's no evidence that MSG causes issues - it's racist bollocks and has been disproven. OP, you have some other issue or ate too much salt.

Glutamate is naturally occuring in foods we commonly eat like cheese, tomatoes and meat. It's also added to many foods like Doritos under a different name. It doesn't do anything to you and you eat loads of it anyway through having a varied diet.

Disproven by who?

Also, racist?

My uncle has an allergy to MSG and was hospitalised after eating food with MSG in it. That’s racist?

@beezlebubnicky it is well known that many people cannot tolerate MSG, myself being one of those people. As for racist how is saying MSG makes some people sick racist???
