Endocrinology referral - pituitary issues?

My early 20s dd hasn't had a period for a year. Slim but no concerns, manages life/exam stresses well. Generally well, few headaches, no significant change to glasses prescription.

Blood tests show two prolactin levels waaaaay over high reference levels, nothing else significant across many tests.

Of course I've got myself in a state thinking brain tumor.

She has an appointment on Tuesday with the endocrinologist, anyone any ideas what is likely to happen in the appointment/further tests etc?

Thanks in advance

Please don’t panic firstly. If it is a prolactionoma (worse than it sounds) they’re usually very tiny, non cancerous and usually manageable with just medication. My prolactin levels were around 4000 when I was diagnosed with it in my 20s and I had an mri which was clear (just meant no visible tumour) I have been on and off cabergoline ever since - I’m now 43 and have had two children during that time, they upped my cabergoline to bring back my periods. The Pituitary Foundation has lots of advice about prolactionomas and they also have a specialist nurse helpline. My health has declined as I’ve got older and developed more autoimmune issues (Addisons, lupus all sorts) but this isn’t usual with a prolactin issue and to be honest it’s been the easiest of the things I’ve had to contend with. I stopped producing oestrogen completely aged 37 which is often common in women with pituitary issues so have been on HRT since.
