Intense brain jolts/zaps lasting seconds that take my breath

I started taking Sertraline 2 years ago (prescribed doses gradually up to 250mg) and stopped taking them some months later (abruptly, myself).
I started Sertraline again in October (50mg).

Not sure if a coincidence but around the same time I started taking Sertraline I began experiencing brain zaps. I still experienced them during the 1.5 year interval I didn’t take any.

I thought strenuous activity triggered them at first but it’s completely random. If I am cleaning/tidying up I can get 3-10 per minute but yet I do Pilates, find the classes intense, but yet I never get them then. Playing/running after my dog can trigger them. Can guarantee Ill get them if laughing

Is anybody experiencing similar?

I don't think it's a coincidence, they are a known side effect of Sertraline. When I was taking 150mg a day I had them a lot so my GP recommended cutting down to 100mg, which reduced them. Yours on 50mg sound very frequent and intense.

Yup I got the same thing but when coming off sertraline. It’s very jolting (excuse the pun…)
mine went away after a little while, but I’d maybe mention it to your doc
