Which brand do you favour? Have used Piz Buin before & found it horrid.
I do like Malibu & Nivea.
Also which brand for kids?

La Roche Posay is recommended by my dermatologist but it's £££. I have heard from someone whose husband was a manager in Aldi that their sun cream is made in the same factory but just has a different label. I've used it and found it good.

We always use altruist from Amazon. It really works and it’s much cheaper than the usual ones.

It isn’t scented though, if scent is your thing.

I am quite sensitive to sunscreens. I like La Roche Posay or Dermalogica for my body. I use Tatcha on my face, but it’s a bit wedgy.

I like Nivea.

Lots of people on Melanoma uk recommend altruist

We use boots own, think it's called Soltan. Never been burned while wearing it!

I like P20 SPF 50 for the face. Switched to this last year. I used to use Nivea Shine Control on the face, but I feel the P20 less and I haven't felt the same irritation if I get it a bit too close to the eyes.

On the rest of the body, I usually use Ambre Solaire 50SPF (tend to get the kids' one, because it has one star more for the UVA than either the normal or the sensitive skin one (don't recall). Last year, I also used the P20 SPF 50 for the body. It claims a protection of 10 hours, which I don't believe or trust, but I am willing to believe that it might last a bit longer. I typically reapply once, maybe twice if I'm out the whole day or the UV is very high. When I was in a Med. country in June and it was all the time the highest UV possible, I was reapplying like mad.

All in SPF 50.

I don't have a great sunscreen for the lips through - I've used a few of the sticks, but they tend to dry my lips out. I tend to use epaderm cream on my lips throughout the year (don't wear lipstick or lipgloss), but then in summer I mostly end up applying the normal sunscreen. That's where I tend to get my sun damage.

I use Ambre Solaire Dry Mist Spray (SPF50, maybe drop to SPF30). It goes on really easily, doesn't need rubbing in so you don't get it all over your hands and doesn't stain. Also okay for the face and scalp (and ears!).

Ditto this!

And it smells like childhood holidays 😁

I'm on a Greek island at the moment and have been wearing Nivea SPF30 on my body and Ambre Solaire anti dark spot and anti pollution super in SPF50 on my face. It is a very light lotion and isn't thick and sticky. I have been wearing sunglasses and a baseball hat. I will come home as white as when I went.

I also have some Nivea SPF50 which has 5* UVA protection.

Nivea. Always. I have never ever burned with it and neither has my son.
