I have always used nurofen but just about run out and was in tesco today and they have calprofen on a special offer(£2.48 instead of usual £3.48)

has anyone used this?

We've used it. It is fine. Never used children's Nurofen though. Can't imagine there is much difference.

It's the same thing but from the company that makes Calpol, hence the similar name. I take it myself and just double the dose!!!

calprofen is just calpols version of neurofen so should work exactly the same

my friend uses it for her little one and hasnt complained but obviously doesnt contain paracetomol so will still need calpol for fevers and things

but for teething calprofen should work fine

Ibuprofen, which is the active ingredient, also lowers the temperature the same as paracetamol.
