I keep getting a really sick feeling in my mouth and as that subsides I get tingling from my elbow down to my hand , all in my left side but has got worse tonight, I'm trying to put it down to being stressed out and worrying about my ddad but it's a really horrible feeling , and to make matters worse im away tomorrow for a couple of days so am worrying about the parents anyway , any ideas or am I going to have to make an appointment with the doctor . Tia

Sorry no ideas but maybe check with 111?

idontlikealdi · 07/04/2024 23:16

It's probably anxiety but you need to get checked out, heart symptoms

ManchesterLu · 07/04/2024 23:25

Likely anxiety, but heart attacks can present differently in women to men, so give 111 a call and put your mind at rest :).

How are you doing this morning @moolady1977?
I would get tingling in my face and arm as a precursor to hemiplegic migraine. Sometimes caused vomiting too.
Could well be stress but f these symptoms are unusual for you then you should get them checked out, either with your GP or 111.

I'm at the caravan now for a couple of days and will be using the time to relax a bit , if it gets really bad I'll ring 111 for some advice

https://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/FamilyMedicine/PostCOVIDclinic/PostCOVIDParesthesia.pdf ''COVID-19 can also cause numbness and tingling in some people. It is difficult to predict who may get paresthesia following COVID.''
What is important to remember is that tingling is a neurological symptom .
''Any numbness and tingling that is long-term may be a sign of a neurological condition or may be a sign of damaged nerves. The temporary sensations of numbness and tingling represent paresthesia.''

Hope you're able to rest and recharge Flowers

TinySmol · 08/04/2024 17:29

You should go to the emergency room immediately.
Sounds like a cardiac issue.

deplorabelle · 08/04/2024 19:09

Its a nuisance but I would get this checked out ASAP. Potentially serious cardiac symptoms
