Multiple neck lumps varying sizes

Hi,

About 7/8 weeks ago, I found approximately 8 to 10 lumps in my neck, some on each side, the two largest being one at the bottom of my neck in the fleshy part along my collarbone, and one halfway down my neck on the other side, but at the same time found tiny ones maybe the size of half a grain of rice? And medium sized ones and then these two larger ones.

I would say the larger ones are pea sized or thereabouts.

I’ve been to the doctors three times, and have recently had blood tests which all came back normal, but as I understand it, that doesn’t really mean much.

I’ve searched through threads regarding neck lumps, but haven’t come across any that cover multiple lumps of varying sizes, mainly just one or two. I’m hoping the next step will be a referral for a scan or biopsy, I’m waiting to speak to the doctor this week.

Just wondering if anybody else out there has had a large amount of lumps in their neck too?

Thank you 😊 xx

They sound like lymph nodes. Have you had a recent cold or infection? That can cause multiple small lumps.

Do go back to your GP but the chances are they are nothing sinister.

@Piggletta Thank you for replying, I had had a few days of illness just before I found them, but nothing especially bad since then, and I feel sure they should have gone down now or disappeared in the last two months? There has been a nasty virus going round and members of my family have been affected but I seem to have missed it xx

Hi @Mandbb80 are you able to give an update? I have a swelling on my collarbone. Thanks
