DD start vomiting last night (Thursday night at about 7pm). Kept some of her evening milk down, but has kept very little fluids down since then. Nappy slightly wet at last change (bathtime at 7pm tonight, Friday) Got some rehydration stuff, but she hates it and will hardly touch it.
She jsut woke up crying and very hot (39c). Gave her water, which she then threw up. Managed to give her a little bit more, which she kept down, plus 10mls of paracetomal. She was hot at bathtime, and I gave her nurofen then. Seemed reasonably ok at bathtime and did play a bit and had some stories before bed. No milk, because of vomitting, just sips of water.

Should I be worried?

she sounds poorly but not scarily so.

Keep an eye and offer bm when she wakes

Last time my dd was like that she was about the same age, and when i spoke to the gp they said more or less the same, as long as some water goes in, and stays in. A trick i remember with morning sickness is lemon sorbet, it was the only thing that stayed down.

keep offering water, and see how she looks in the morning. with mine when they are ill i add a pinch of sugar to a beakerful, they are more likly to drink more.

Thank you. Have just given her some nurofen, as temperature was still 39c an hour after the paracetomal. She is taking sips of water...any more than that and she just throws it up. Her breathing has slowed down now, which is a relief.
