Any dermatologists on to advise? TMI warning - yucky foot photos.

I am plagued by blister type postules that develop under my toes (both feet) - pic attached of one which grew over the past few days and also of the other foot where one has burst and the skin not quite healed. Dr Google tells me it’s a type of eczema- has anyone else suffered from this and can advise on treatment? Current blister is absolutely burning and walking is painful. Thanks in advance

Maybe I should post in Sporner’s corner 😂

I get dishydrotic eczema on my toes. It doesn’t look like that though. My toes itch terribly before it shows up and they are much smaller fluid filled blisters.

Have you actually seen a doctor or dermatologist rather than Dr Google?

Dishydrotic or pompholyx eczema. You need a potent topical steroid from the GP.

Dermatologists in the UK can be quite tricky to see if you don't have private health insurance, but podiatrists are trained for all things foot - including skin issues, so find yourself one of them

Thanks all. I have a (long awaited) dermatologist appointment next Friday so will hopefully come away with a prescription. Podiatrist is a good call - hadn’t thought of that 🙏🏻
