Is it possible for a 9yo to have vulvodynia? Does anyone have any experience of this and ways to relieve the pain?

I am sorry for what your daughter is going through. I will caveat this by saying I am not medically trained but have experienced this condition myself and personally for me it went hand in hand with symptoms of UTIs and cystitis so I would want to make sure via GP etc it's neither of them as well.

Will also try treating for threadworms to rule that out.

DD had similar- it was an infection related to her eczema. Was easily treated - suggest a trip to the GP and hope she gets better soon

There are no physical signs of anything... She says its not every day or night more like every 2 or 3 nights and occasionally in the day and she sits down. Usually some sufocrem cools things but last night was particularly severe and cream and paracetamol didn't help. She eventually got to sleep at 1am. Will call GP on Tuesday.

Was interested to know what happened with your daughter? Is it resolved now?
