I'm in Spain and have just noticed this...

Should I go and get antibiotics, or is it too minor to bother?

It's Good Friday and the clinics mostly shut at 2pm.

Doh!

Thanks for any advice.

No I wouldn’t. Keep it clean and dry.

trackertoo · 29/03/2024 09:06

why would you need antibiotics?!

how did you get it?

irked1 · 29/03/2024 09:13

Just because it's red and puffy, wondered if it might be infected.

If it's not a problem then that's great news.

Thanks!

the key is how did it happen?

colouredball · 29/03/2024 09:19

How have you just noticed it?

gamerchick · 29/03/2024 09:21

Just keep it clean and dry. I wouldn't be looking for antibiotics for that atm.

@trackertoo thank you. I don't know how it happened. We moved house this week and it's been hectic. I think it's most likely a cooking burn.

good grief then no don’t bother

It's red and puffy as your body is dilating the blood vessels around it to bring all the stuff it needs to heal.

That is a normal reaction to having a small wound.

Thank you all, hugely grateful for the advice 🙏🙏
